The website has a number of major improvements to its layout and navigation, as well as new interactive facilities including:

Visual and Text Layout

Our page-view layouts are a lot clearer and also provide visual and text links to related internal or external information. The website can also be viewed on iPhones and tablets.

See more from home

Our new home page has more of our key content visible to visitors helping you to find what you are looking for easier all in one place.

Easier Navigation

Getting around the site and finding content is made much easier using our main menu and intelligent blog news search system. With the new enhanced social network tools you can share our content quickly and easily via Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Linkedin and other popular platforms.

Interactive e-Newsletter

Our monthly newsletter remains incorporated in the website for a single-source experience. We hope that our subscribers find the new options and layout of our newsletter more user-friendly.

Accessibility

We have taken all steps within our means to ensure the new website broadly complies with W3C standards and with The Equality Act ensuring that people with disabilities will be able to use the site and have the same access to the same content and resources as any other visitors. This is an area of ongoing development that WAITS will be committed to indefinitely.

A New Look For Our Website…

A fresh look for 2022+

The WAITS website has undergone a comprehensive 18-month revamp in close consultation with our web designers.

The website incorporates new and enhanced features such as the improved and interactive news blog and e-newsletter, as well as our brand new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) page.

Many thanks to First Stop Web Design for providing a completely free consultation and redesign process saving WAITS well over £3,500 in development costs.

Completely New Features:

In our new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section we have compiled quick answers to some of the most common types of enquiries WAITS receives.

Our revamped Private Visits page advises on the steps you can take to help prevent any one knowing you have visited this website.

The website now includes a page on our Volunteering & Influencing Project which was launched in August 2020.

The project supports our clients through their holistic recovery of domestic abuse. Clients attend weekly therapeutic workshops that are aimed at developing skills and reducing social isolation.

The clients engage with facilitators who teach about managing money, self-care, cooking, housing, and wellbeing.
